Vehicular Defense

This course is a multi platform class(rifle-pistol) about fighting from the outside of a vehicle and understanding how to work around it.

Details:   This course was designed to give students the skills and knowledge to properly work around vehicles and structures. Vehicles are part of our everyday life whether you’re inside one or not, understanding how to protect yourself either utilizing one or working away from one is a key concept that should be part of your martial firearm skillset.

Length: 6+ hrs

We will focus on:

  • Firearms Safety and Range Etiquette

  • Gear selection and placement

  • Shooting fundamentals

  • Handgun/Rifle Presentation

  • Marksmanship

  • Trigger Manipulation

  • Malfunction drills

  • Recoil management

  • Problem solving

  • shooting positions

  • Vehicle ballistics test

  • vehicle employment and cover

  • interior engagements

  • exterior engagements

Student Requirements: This is not a basic entry level course, this is an advanced class.

Prerequisites: Must have taken one of our Technique/tactics/practical courses or one from a vetted instructor.

Equipment: For this class there is no specific gear requirement, you can wear full kit, plate carrier helmet etc., or be EDC and work entirely from concealment.

Gear list: Pistol, Rigid holster that retains handgun while moving and maintains shape when empty (outside the waistband, no serpa holster - push button, no leather), stiff belt, 3 magazines (4 if you have 10 round magazines), magazine holders/pouches, eye protection, ear protection. 600 rounds of Pistol and 600 rounds of rifle ammunition.

Additional equipment should be considered taking into account the season, weather, and personal necessities.  Dress appropriately, stay hydrated, and ensure staff is aware of any medical considerations that may impact training.  Consumption of food and drink is continuous short of impacting the training cycle.  In addition, bring a meal as there will be a 45 minute “working lunch”.

Registration & Payment:  All Courses require pre-payment at the time of registration.  All courses have a limited amount of students and courses are filled on a first-come, first paid basis. If the course is cancelled by Bull Creek Strategic, Inc, we will contact you to see if you would desire a 100% refund of your payment or if you'd like to be moved to a different time/date , otherwise your payment is 100% non-refundable.
